As an intern, I gained valuable experience in the Editorial Department learning about the functions necessary to produce a monthly magazine. I reached out to contacts, conducted research, fact-checked, and wrote copy for print materials.

Dining Out
For “Dining Out,” the magazine’s list of recommended restaurants published in the print edition of every issue, I fact-checked to get all information up to date. I updated the descriptions, including hours and menu items, and made sure each blurb was approximately the same length.

Reasons to Love Living in Westchester
I conducted research and compiled data on Westchester County for a piece titled, “33 Reasons to Love Living in Westchester County.” It was a pleasure supporting the senior editorial staff with this project.

Best of Westchester 2025
The “Best of Westchester” list, published annually, recognizes community leaders and businesses for their excellent work throughout the county. I researched and wrote blurbs for several of the winners, which are available to read online.
