The Pitt News has been the University of Pittsburgh’s award-winning daily student newspaper since 1910. The newspaper publishes daily during the fall and spring semesters, and weekly during the summer, with 10,000 copies distributed to campus newsstands. The paper has won prestigious awards from the Associated College Press (widely considered to be the “Pulitzer Prizes” of college journalism), Columbia Scholastic Press Association, College Media Business & Advertising Managers and the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association.
